Calvin Zola-Makongo, born on December 31, 1984, is a Congolese former professional footballer who played as a forward. He started his career at Newcastle United and went on to play for Tranmere Rovers, Crewe Alexandra, Burton Albion, and Aberdeen. Zola joined Tranmere Rovers in July 2004 on a two-year contract, which was later extended until June 2009. His time at Tranmere Rovers marked an important period in his career before moving on to other clubs. Zola retired from professional football on July 1, 2015, after his last club, Stevenage, released him due to injury.
